My Bio…

About Bob Gray…

I’m a married guy, living with my wonderful wife and two crazy cats in Pitt Meadows, BC.

I love music, have been playing all my life, and writing since I was about 15 years old.

I’ve been trying to pursue songwriting more seriously for the last few years, and although I don’t have any songs published yet, I enjoy the craft, and remain optimistic. (Check ‘em out !)

I’ve also had a lifelong love with the written word, which has expanded from writing short stories and poems, into the observations that have evolved into this Blog.BobSongs logo

As the disclaimer on my songs says, I’m not someone looking to “book” myself, as an act.  I love songwriting, but have little interest in singing or performing.  I will occasionally get up on stage and sing a song or two, but I prefer to leave the performances to the performers !

For the past few years, I have been working towards getting a small Digital Recording Studio set up in my basement, and now that it is a reality, I am more focused than ever, on “getting to work” !!!

By trade, I am a Business Manager.  A Generalist, who helps good Businesses become better. My areas of specialization include: System Analysis, Inventory Management & Controls, IT, Writing, Graphic Arts, Social Media, Retail Management & Web Design.

My 1983 Yairi GuitarMy wife and I assist a few different Organizations:  BC Songwriters’ Showcase, Kateslem After School Program & Katie’s Place Animal Shelter.

We also, when we have time, love to make lampwork glass beads, garden, and spend time with our four wonderful nieces.

To see more information about the Organizations listed:  Please click on the Friends tab, on the top of the page.

To do the Hokey Pokey:  Please, first move your left foot forward, or “in”.  Then , move your left foot backwards, past the standing position, so it is behind you, or “out”.  Once more move your left foot forward (in), and upon completion of that movement, proceed to shake your whole entire being. To complete the process, you must rotate your body one complete revolution clockwise. That IS what it is all about !!!

(Repeat as necessary with other appendages, until a feeling of well being, and or dizziness has overtaken you.)
